With a turnover increasing by 52%, FDC containers established itself in 2024 as the market leader in container manufacturers among companies with 100% Romanian capital. The Bacau-based manufacturer demonstrates that focusing on customer needs and fast delivery generates benefits. After 10 years of activity, Containere FDC consolidates its position as a leader and strategic partner for major players in the construction works market, while accelerating its internationalization plans, with bold objectives in Germany.
From the Bacau factory, every month, approximately 250 containers are delivered to various locations in Romania and the European Union. FDC containers are located on road infrastructure project sites, as offices, bedrooms or storage spaces; they host children in kindergartens or patients in hospital unit extensions; they support the entrepreneurial environment in HoReCa and, practically, any type of business focused on rapid development.
"We reached this stage because we focused on the needs of the client, whether we are talking about public administration or larger, small and medium-sized companies. From the beginning, we had confidence in our strategy and it was only a matter of time until we would have good results", declares Cristinel Fichitiu, general manager of Containere FDC, whose company registers at the end of 2024 an increase in turnover by 52%, and in absolute values from 37,85 million lei (2023) to 57,70 million lei (2024).
Showrooms in Bucharest and Bacau, delivery nationwide
By precisely following the strategic objectives, the leadership of the Bacau company planned the national expansion, now occupying solid positions in the area of residential, industrial or commercial space provision. The feedback received from the market confirms the status of a trusted partner of leaders in the road and civil infrastructure construction sector.
The figures recorded by FDC Containers year after year point to the trend line in the analysis of the last 10 years. The growth rate has not dropped below 52%, even reaching a maximum of 208% (2020).
Interpreting the figures for 2024, by market share held, Containere FDC is the leader in the top container manufacturers with 100% Romanian capital.
"The consolidation of our leading position also comes as a result of the investments made in the development from scratch of the two showrooms in Bucharest and Bacau. Our expansion plans also include internationalization towards markets such as Germany, where we have already made significant steps", says Cristinel Fichitiu, general manager of FDC Containers.
The Bucharest showroom occupies 3.000 square meters, where the Bacau-based manufacturer displays different types of containers, from residential, office or adapted HoReCa, to CASE of different sizes. Even larger in surface area, the showroom in Bacau (4.000 sqm) is integrated with the production unit, which can be visited. Both also serve as a warehouse for fast, specialized deliveries with truck cranes throughout the country.
